According to accounts from The Sun, Eliza “Liza” Fletcher, a teacher from Tennessee whose grandpa, Joseph Orgill III, co-ran the Memphis-based hardware distributor Orgill Inc., was kidnapped in the early hours of Friday morning while she was jogging close to the University of Memphis campus.
The “vehicle of interest” in her kidnapping has been found, according to the Memphis Police Department, and a guy who was inside it has been taken into custody; however, Fletcher has not been found. There was currently no other information available regarding the man who was being held in custody.
Although the exact amount of Fletcher’s personal wealth is unknown, she is the heiress to the fortune of Orgill Inc. As of the year 2020, the company has a value of more than $3.2 billion and is ranked number 143 on the Forbes list of the largest private corporations in the United States. According to reports, Fletcher, a pre-kindergarten educator, was exercising in purple jogging shorts and a pink top on Friday at 4:30 in the morning when her assailants, who were driving a dark SUV, drew up and roughly pushed her into the vehicle. At approximately 7 in the morning, it was reported that she was gone, and when police officers arrived at the area, they located Fletcher’s broken cell phone as well as an abandoned water bottle.
Her family is offering a reward of fifty thousand dollars for any information that may be offered that can help locate her. Fletcher is a Caucasian woman who is described as being married with two children, being five feet and six inches tall, weighing 137 pounds, and having brown hair and green eyes.

On its Facebook page, Hutchinson High School shared messages of love and an “urgent call to prayer.” They also mentioned that Fletcher was a “beloved alumnus,” adding that they prayed for her well-being and the well-being of her family.
