The ITZY members aren’t shy, which is why they were not shy in responding to their followers on TikTok. This week, the group made use of the app to chat with their followers, Midzys, and the results are as touching as you’d imagine. All of the members Yuna, Ryujin, Yeji, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna have watched Midzys videos on TikTok and reacted to everything from singing songs to album collections to clothes. Lia and Chaeryeong happened upon form a duo with Midzys who were posting their ITZY-themed fashions. Their reactions were so sweet.
Lia responded to the styles inspired by ITZY’s outfits through the years and posted a TikTok by her sisters Maddi as well as Jordi McCann. The pair started off with looks from their debut album it’s Different, which featured “Dalla Dalla” to their most recent album Crazy in Love. “When we began doing K-pop videos [outfits] as an ongoing series, I wanted to cover one of my favorite K-pop bands. ITZY is my absolute favorite girl group and I adore their chic and stylish fashion. I admire how confident they appear in their own style and self-confidence,” Jordi tells Teen Vogue.

As she watched, Lia gave two thumbs-ups and also mirrored Maddi and Jordi’s looks when they showcased their fashion. “I woke up to a ton of notifications and thought, ‘Wow our TikTok is doing really well,’ then I started seeing heaps of comments saying ‘Wake up! Lia duetted you!’ I was in disbelief. I quickly went to check out ITZY’s TikTok to check if it was true! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. I immediately called Jordi and I was shaking and jumping up and down from excitement to tell her. I am so amazed and excited that Itzy saw our video and shared it with their fans as we are big fans of theirs,” Maddi states.
“I was stunned and thrilled when I received an urgent call from Maddi asking me to swiftly go through our TikTok. I’m so grateful and grateful to ITZY’s Lia for deciding to choose us to respond to. It’s truly a wish that has come true,” Jordi adds.
Chaeryeong on his part performed the TikTok duo featuring Louise Echavidre who replicated outfits worn by the five members of the group during the “Loco” era while promoting Crazy in Love. “I began making Kpop outfits-inspired videos after I realized that I had lots of similar outfits to BLACKPINK’s The BLACKPINK videos received lots of views, and I loved the idea so I began making videos with all my favorite groups. I have loved ITZY since its beginning and the girls are incredibly talented and always pull off the most stylish outfits throughout their time. I had a blast replicating ITZY’s Loco Stage outfits. The pinks and lacy outfits are original, and the grunge and emo vibes were just so cool.” Louise tells Teen Vogue.

Chaeryeong’s reaction to each of Louise’s re-creations begins with Yuna’s ripped tights outfit and ends with Ryunjin’s pleated skirt style. “I was in an architectural history class when I began receiving messages saying”Girls, Chae duetted your video and my heart stopped. I then went to their TikTok account and noticed the cute Chaeryeong reacting to my post. I was stunned The beautiful and talented Chae was congratulating me on my film,” Louise shares.
