TL;DR
- Xiaomi has shared imagery of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 fitness tracker.
- The tracker will launch in China on May 24. A wider release will likely come soon after.
- Rumors suggest the tracker could have a larger screen than the Mi Band 6.
Every year like clockwork, Xiaomi launches a new Mi Band fitness tracker. And, every year like clockwork, we declare it to be one of the best cost-focused fitness trackers you can get.
Usually, Xiaomi launches its trackers in China first and then rolls them out to the rest of the world some weeks later. As such, you should expect the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 to make its way to your area of the world soon.
The Mi Band series is also one of the few Xiaomi product lines that make its way to the United States. You might not be able to get a Xiaomi 12 smartphone here easily, but the Mi Band 7 should be pretty easy to nab once it lands.
The rumor mill suggests Xiaomi could slightly increase the display size of the tracker this year. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 has a 1.56-inch AMOLED display, but the new model could have a 1.62-inch display of the same caliber (via GSM Arena). Other than that, all the usual features should be onboard, including step, sleep, heart rate, SpO2, and general fitness tracking. NFC support should also be on board, but that likely will only land in certain areas of the world.
