TiMi Studio has released the first post-launch character of Pokemon UNITE: the Psychic/Fairy type Gardevoir, a mere week after the game’s launch.
The Pokemon is classified as a ranged attacker, Gardevoir is a glass cannon that is capable of taking away the largest of Pokemon with a series of attacks that do massive damage. It can also create secondary effects that will help you as well as your team.
However, you’ll have to be cautious of wandering enemies such as Zeraora, Gengar, and Absol due to the damage they deal, Gardevoir is not built to stand up in one-on the one battles against Pokemon capable of sustaining large amount of damaging bursts. Combining the Psychic-type with a solid defense or supporter will be the best option to control the lane.
You can purchase the Gardevoir’s Unite License from the Unite Battle Commission for 8000 Aeos coins or the equivalent of 460 Aeos Gems. If you’re in need of an idea of how to build this one will get you started early.

Shell Bell
If you are planning on trying to stay alive against the possible explosion damage that could be a result of roaming enemies and are looking to use Shell Bell to Shell Bell to top off your HP and clear the lane is a great alternative. Also, you can receive the Special Attack boost and move cooldown reductions too.
Sp. Atk Specs
It is possible to change this item to an Float Stone to gain more speed for movement however, the additional boost to the base Special Attack after scoring a goal is worthy of the conditon of this item.
Battle Items
Eject Button
As with most of the offensive Pokemon, Gardevoir is frail and must be able to exit difficult situations by through the Eject Button when Teleport is upgraded to the latest move. If you’re not feeling the necessity to be X Attack equipped, there isn’t anything else to distract you from using the basic equipment available in the game.
Moves
One Confusion
Always, it is best to select the offensive option that helps you eliminate wild Pokemon more quickly at the beginning of each battle. Confusion can do a great deal of damage. When coupled to Teleport’s Basic Attack increase, Gardevoir can provide a excellent early burst of damage.
Level six: Psyshock
Psyshock can deal multiple hits of severe damage in an effective multi-attack. It has a cooldown of 11 seconds which means you’ll need to be cautious when fighting against Pokemon that are hostile, however it is able to make a splash when you hit three strikes on one opponent.
If you are planning on using Moonblast it is recommended to select Future Sight. Combining stun with delayed damage that comes with an instant cooldown following hitting is just too tempting to not take advantage of.
Enhance (Level 13) also increases the amount of damage that this move can cause every time it is hit.
Level 8 Eight: Psychoic/Moonblast
Gardevoir offers some fantastic advanced moves for Confusion including Psychic and Moonblast as excellent options to help your team gain an advantage in battles or cause some good damage through great secondary effects.
Psychic is a way to create an AoE zone which is able to deal damage to Pokemon and slows them after striking an opponent or traveling the maximum distance. Moonblast is more precise in its approach, with Gardevoir returning and unleashing a blast that when it hits can cause damages in a cone which causes those Pokemon stunned.
Upgrade (Level 11):
- Psychic: Reducing the moves’ cooldown
- Moonblast: Also gives an opponent a defense whenever the move is employed
9th Level: Fairy Singularity
It’s time to throw your foes in the Black Hole. Gardevoir’s Unite Move draws in opposing Pokemon to displace them and inflicting damage after the warped area disappears. This is ideal for starting the team fight, eliminating weaker groups of enemies and plenty more.
