Tiny magnetic balls that are sold only at Walmart are now being being recalled due to the risk of causing illnesses and even deaths in a few consumers because they don’t meet safety guidelines. The apparently innocent ‘Relax’ balls, which are advertised as construction blocks and stress-reducing are associated with a horrific toll of seven deaths as well as numerous hospitalizations.
This recall was issued through the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is in response to the discovery that these small, but strong magnets, only available on the internet at Walmart and other stores, have caused chaos on consumers who were not aware of it.
It follows 5 million blenders had been recall from Costco, Target and Walmart following 17 accidents and 50 fires, in addition, containers made of Fanta, Sprite and Diet Coke were also removed from the shelves.
