Princess Beatrice, who turned 33 today, is pregnant with her first child after helping to take care of her stepson Wolfie with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Parenting expert Jasmine Peters spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk on the type of mother Princess Beatrice is going to be. Jasmine said: “I think Princess Beatrice is going to be an authoritative parent with a hint of authoritarian parenting.
“If we pay attention to her as a person, it’s clear her dominant parenting style is likely to be authoritative.

“As she prepared for her bundle of joy to arrive, Princess Beatrice is already known to be a hands-on stepmother.
“Being hands-on with a young child means she may take the time to explain things and how they work to a small, inquisitive mind.
“She takes an interest in the child’s feelings and when redirecting imperfect behaviour she factors in his feelings and lets the ‘punishment fit the crime’ and explains why.
Parenting expert says Princess Beatrice will be
“She opted to wear a recycled wedding dress. Opting to promote sustainability and known for being eco-conscious are teachings and behaviours that are adopted into all of your relationships especially parenting.
“Being an advocate for sustainability requires having a voice, patience and lots of explaining. All which Princess Beatrice will do and hand down to her little one.
“They have opted to move to a countryside home which will be closer to nature and allow her to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
“She will take inspiration from her grandmother and mother plus adding in her own beliefs from what she has experienced as a child.
“The royal baby’s childhood may be an interesting mix of old school meets new school.”

A body language expert, Judi James, has commented on this topic and the signs she has shown throughout her pregnancy on the type of mother she will be.
Judi said: “Beatrice has several emotional advantages that should help her new role as a mother to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
“Her husband Edo is an experienced father already and although she is the older sister it has always been Eugenie who has looked the more mature and protective of her.
“It was Eugenie who had a baby first so Beatrice will already be fully prepped in terms of what to expect.

“She also has the fiercest of loyal support from her mother Sarah who is rarely seen apart from her two daughters and clearly adores being a grandmother.
“Watching Beatrice’s most recent videos on social media we can see someone who looks and talks more like a young girl herself rather than a wife and mother-to-be.
“Her conversational skills with children seem based on her own high levels of empathy and love of acting like a big kid.
“As a parent, this should make her a very playful, fun mother rather than a more formal, traditionally royal one.
“Edo has been seen gazing at her with polite and charming attention during her pregnancy, but Beatrice seems to use body language reminiscent of her cousin Zara, rubbing her upper bump with two hands, showing signs of some mild discomfort when necessary and looking as fun as ever when not.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi romantic timeline
“Posing with the tennis stars Beatrice is clearly still up for some comedy body language, joining in and having fun as well as widening her eyes in the same surprised and excitable expression that is a signature look of her mother.
“Beatrice’s baby-bump body language makes her look happily natural and spontaneous rather than overly-protective.
“This trait, plus the close access of several experienced parents and new parents around her should mean she is a relatively anxiety-free, openly besotted new parent.”
The 33-year-old married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 in a low-key wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, gave birth to her baby August Brooksbank in February 2021.
